School’s cultural activities are organised by Alessandro and Enrica in order to show some of the most important aspects of Sardinian history and culture ..there is always a visit to a Nuraghe: a Nuraghe is a fortified construction which spread in Sardinia during the 2nd millennium BC. It is about are very important and unique structures.

Nora

In Nora, you can look up to the Roman remains that preserve a beautiful theatre ..usually, we take advantage of the fact that the ancient Roman town is behind a beach sheltered from winds, to dive into the fantastic water.

San sperate

This village is famous for its several murals (about 320) that, since the 60’s, adorn the streets, both in the historical centre and on modern buildings. These murals narrate the local culture and the close relationship with land, traditions, daily life as well as ancient and modern history. In San Sperate, we visit the garden-workshop of Pinuccio Sciola, a famous sculptor and muralist of San Sperate: in its garden, you can try the wonderful experience of the “sound stones”, large sculptures that resonate when rubbed by human hands or small rocks.

All our activities include nice evenings dedicated to the Sardinian culture, with music, dance and traditional cuisine. Thanks to the help of experts, you will try to take the first steps of the famous “ballu tundu” (typically danced in a closed or open circle) ..and, if you are not a talented dancer, it will be a good opportunity of listening to live music from two typical instruments such as barrel-organ and Launeddas.

In midsummer, we also like to show you our beautiful beaches: porto paglia, cala goloritzè and Chia.

Or a sunset cocktail in Nebida...
Or just a good dinner...
