Cooking

We organize special courses in order to let students enjoy our culture and tradition

1. Course of Sardinian coockery and language
The course is divided in three lessons of about 3 hours; each lesson will be followed by a dinner and students will eat what they have just prepared while drinking local wine. This course is for non-professionals and it is a part of Italian language courses. It will be held at L'ACCADEMIA, in one of the classrooms, with a chef and a teacher of Italian who will give information about the specific words and verbs connected to the recipe and to the cooking. Each student will be given what he needs for the lesson and will prepare his own food.

First lesson: Fregola
which is a first course, very similar to cous cous. It will be cooked in two different ways and tasted with Sardinian traditional white wine.

Second lesson: Sa Panada
which is sort of pie full of vegetables and meat which goes well with a Carignano wine or a Cannonau wine.

Third lesson: Pardule
a typical Sardinian sweet, made of ricotta (fresh cheese) which goes well with wine for dessert.

The price includes everything we usually organise for students:

  • tour of the town(2 hours of extra activity)
  • a film with the teacher (3 hours of extra activity)

 

The price does not include:

  • registration fee €70,00 (books included)
  • any other services required (accommodation , transport )
